Are you a sailor, captain, or merchant who would use ocean based shipping? Kai frequently picks up contracts with various ships and would be happy to do business with you or work beside you.

Due to traveling for a living, Kai is often in port cities and visiting various markets and restaurants. She tends to be polite and keeps a low profile when she can.

She's not the most stable on her feet when on land and would likely bump into your character physically. She's also known to trip quite frequently but don't expect her to fall for your character in any other way.

Kai is always happy to help local artisans and vendors find better shipping routes and/or suppliers. She also tries to support local places when she's in port.

Personality Kai is bubbly and friendly but can be anxious in social situations. She's typically polite but isn't one to strike up conversations unless she's confident/feeling safe. She wears her heart on her sleeve once you get to know her, and if she tries to hide things away her carbuncle Fluff will likely show you how she's really feeling.

Appearance
Function over faction is Kai's choice in clothing. She often sports a bathing suit under her clothes and only has a small collection of options keeping her bag light and easy for sailing. She cuts her own hair short and always has green earrings and a bracelet on her wrist. She keeps a snowflake necklace hidden under her clothing.

Biography
Background - Kai grew up around the La Noscea area, often seen in Limsa around the docks and markets. Kai is known to pick up contracts with different ships, never settling in with a single crew for too long. She's a hard worker and goes above and beyond for most contracts, between mending sails to providing combat first aid to those on the ship. She currently on contract to the Written Dearly under Captain Gaultier.Father - Kai's dad was a musketeer for the Maelstrom, while slowly growing in rank over the years he turned down hire promotions wanting to stay out of leadership positions. He hasn't been seen since the last calamity and many assume he's dead.Mother - Kai's mom was a fisher that hitched rides on many of the common trade routes in and out of Limsa. She owned a small boat and could be see off the coast of many of the surrounding areas. She passed away when Kai was 10 after a rough battle with a common disease since the family couldn't afford proper treatment.I'd rather people find out more information about Kai and her family through scenes, but if you have any questions about commonly known information please let me know!
